I’m Sasha Stukalska, a multidisciplinary chef, art director, visual creator, and projects producer from sunny Odesa.
My relationship with food began in childhood during summers at our family dacha, where helping my relatives in the kitchen revealed the joy of creating together. These moments sparked my desire to express emotion and meaning through food.
My approach to cuisine is rooted not only in technique. For me, cooking requires openness, intuition, and genuine attention to each ingredient as a living, energetic element of the process.

After working in the fashion industry and studying at Ferrandi Culinary School in Paris, followed by experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant Antoine, I returned to Ukraine to merge cuisine, art, and innovation into a cohesive practice. I worked as a chef and provided consulting for restaurants.
My interest in sustainability and ingredient-focused cooking led me to Copenhagen, where I completed a program on sustainable restaurant practices at René Redzepi’s MAD Academy at Noma.
This experience shaped the way I work today: I collaborate with restaurants and hospitality projects as a specialist, entering at the stage where a concept, structure, or art direction needs to be redefined.

My role is to identify the full potential of a project — from idea and positioning to menu, space, and guest experience — and transform it into a cohesive system. I bring together culinary vision, creative direction, and strategic thinking to build concepts that are based on strong aesthetics, and are also sustainable, functional, and alive.
In February 2024, I founded BUTTER BURO — a creative culinary atelier at the intersection of food, art, and design. We create visual and sensory experiences through food for brands and cultural projects.
Currently based in Paris and working worldwide. Available for consulting, collaborations, and creative partnerships.
