I’m Sasha Stukalska, a multidisciplinary chef and creative producer from Odesa.
My relationship with food began in childhood during summers at our family dacha, where helping my relatives in the kitchen revealed the joy of creating together. These moments sparked my desire to express emotion and meaning through food.
My approach to cuisine is rooted not only in technique, for me it’s cooking requires openness, intuition, and genuine attention to each ingredient as a living, energetic element of the process.

After working in the fashion industry and studying at Ferrandi Culinary School in Paris, followed by experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant Antoine, I returned to Ukraine to merge my interests in cuisine, art, and innovation.
I worked as a chef in restaurants in Odesa and Kyiv.
My interest in sustainability and ingredient-focused cooking led me to Copenhagen, where I completed a program on sustainable restaurant practices at René Redzepi’s MAD Academy from Noma.

In February 2024, I founded BUTTER BURO – a creative agency that reimagines food as an art. At BUTTER BURO, we specialize in visual food concepts, bespoke catering, and private dining. My work centers on art direction, cooking, and set design, guided by a philosophy of seasonality, sustainability, and visual aesthetics.
Currently based in Paris and working worldwide.
Open to collaborations and joint projects.
