I’m Sasha Stukalska, a chef and food producer originally from Odesa, southern Ukraine. My connection to food began in my childhood summers at our family’s "dacha," where I discovered the joy and creativity of working with local ingredients. These early experiences shaped my aesthetic sensibilities and fostered a deep appreciation for the land and its offerings.

After graduating from Ferrandi culinary school in Paris and gaining experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant Antoine, I returned to Ukraine to merge my passions for cuisine, art, and innovation. I became a chef in Kyiv, where we opened TCP, a unique cinematography bar and kitchen. Back in Odesa, I achieved a personal milestone by launching Lola, a bistro focused on local, seasonal food and natural wines. My interest in sustainability led me to Copenhagen, where I completed a program on sustainable restaurant practices at Rene Redzepi’s MAD Academy.

Over time, I shifted my focus toward food production and consultancy, bringing my philosophy of seasonal, sustainable, and aesthetically driven food to new arenas. In February 2024, I founded "BUTTER BURO", a creative agency that reimagines food as an art form and cultural experience. At BUTTER BURO, we specialize in visual food concepts, bespoke catering, and private dining.

Currently based in Paris and working worldwide, I work in art direction, collaborate and consult restaurants, curate events with food, and create concepts for memorable projects and experiences. Guided by joy, beauty, and respect for the seasons, I create projects that celebrate the vibrant potential of food while forging meaningful connections through every meal
